White Chocolate Chip Muffin Mix and Fudge Mix Gift Jar Recipes

White Chocolate Chip Muffin Mix

2 1/2 cups flour with 1/2 tsp salt and 2 tsp. baking soda (mixed together)
1 cup packed Brown Sugar
1/3 cup Unsweetened Cocoa Powder (when you add this layer you may need to wipe inside of jar before adding last layer)
1 1/2 cups White Chocolate Chips

Put the ingredients in a quart jar in the order given. Remember to pack each layer down a bit before adding next layer. Don't forget to add the following recipe with your muffin mix.

White Chip Muffins

1 jar of White Chocolate Chip Muffin Mix
6 Tbls melted butter
2 eggs, beaten
1 1/3 cup Buttermilk
1 1/2 tsp. Vanilla

Preheat oven to 400 F, grease muffin pan or use muffin cups in muffin pan. Empty jar of muffin mix into large mixing bowl and rest of the ingredients and mix all together until well blended. Spoon into muffin cups, filling each about 2/3 full. Bake 16 - 18 minutes or until toothpick inserted in centers comes out clean. Let cool. Enjoy!

Add a little ribbon and give just the jar and recipe or include a mixing bowl, muffin pan, muffin cups or a set of measuring spoons or cups.

Fudge Mix

Layer the following in a one quart jar in the order given. Make sure to press down lightly each layer.

1/2 cup chopped pecans
2 cups chocolate chips, semi-sweet
3 cups mini marshmallows

With the final layer you're really going to have to press them down to make them fit. Attach the following recipe to the gift jar.

Fudge

1 stick butter
3 cups sugar
1 can evaporated milk, 5 oz.

In a microwave safe bowl add the sugar and evapotated milk stir until it's mixed well. Microwave on hight for about 4 minutes, stir it well and continue microwaving it one minute at a time until the sugar & milk starts to boil & then let it boil for about a minute. This bowl will be hot when you remove so be careful and use potholders. While the sugar & milk is cooking, in another bowl put your fudge gift jar mix and the butter cut into several slices. Add the milk & sugar mixture to the fudge mix and mixuntil the marshmallows melt. Pour this mixture while still hot into a 9" x 13" baking pan that has been sprayed with cooking oil/spray. Put in the refrigerator and chill for a few hours. Then cut into squares. Enjoy!
