What about impulse shopping.
Are you an impulse shopper..... I used to be...Here are a few tips to help curb that impulse buying...
- Only shop when you need something specific
- Make a list and as you pick up what is on your list mark it off. We are less likely to impulse shop when we have a list to go by. Without a list we wander aimlessly throughout the store buying more than we need.
- Try not to window shop, we still seem to find something we don't really need. If you do window shop leave your money, checks, credit/debit card at home (no money, no temptation to spend)
- Never shop when you are depressed or upset -- spending money doesn't help
Let's don't forget about store perks... you know, when you sign up at the store they give you a card that gives you additional discounts, and /or discounts on future purchases...
