Herb Rub / Rosemary Marinade Mix



Herb Rub

2 tsp dried thyme
2 Tbl. dried basil
½ tsp. sea or kosher salt
½ tsp. Black Pepper1 tsp. Brown sugar
1/8 tsp. cayenne pepper
1 tsp. fennel seed (optional)

Combine all the ingredients together and put in little single serving baggies or double/triple the recipe and put in a small spice jar. Give this gift jar with a small bottle of olive oil with the instructions to add 1-2 Tbl of olive oil with 4 Tbl of rub mix and sprinkle and rub in on their favorite meat.

Rosemary Marinade Mix

1/4 cup dried Rosemary
2 tsp dried minced garlic
1 tsp. garlic powder
½ tsp kosher or sea salt

Mix together and place in small gift jar. Give this jar with a fresh lemon or two along with a small bottle of olive oil. Go to the Dollar Store and pick up a small basket along with a small bottle of olive oil, add a couple of lemons, decorate with a little ribbon & you have a wonderful gift. Add the following instructions: Stir dry mix well, then in a large sealable baggie add 2 – 3 T. of the Rosemary Marinade Mix along with 1 thinly sliced lemon and ½ cup of olive oil, add your meat and marinate for at least 15 – 20 minutes. Try this mix on grilled vegetables also. Enjoy!
