Fundraiser savings.....Have you ever had a neighborhood child or a co-worker ask you to support their child's school Fundraiser? One of these fundraisers is a great money saver and only costs about $15..... This is the local coupon book that has about 100 or more coupons, for restaurants, fast food, and local entertainment parks...a lot of these coupons are 2 for 1.... The kids are out selling them normally in November each year. (Quick note: If you're looking for a fundraiser for your group, check at the bottom of this page also or if you can't find a group selling these coupon books check out the entertainment book at the bottom of this page.)Yes there are many coupons you may never use in them, but the few you do use will more than pay for the book, will save you money and supports the fundraiser groups!!! I have even given some of the coupons in the book, I know I won't use, to others who would.
To decide if one of these coupon books will be a benefit to you, ask the person selling them to let you look through the book and see how many of the coupons you can use. Another big bonus is these coupons last all year before they expire...so no rush in using them.
I have also called and/or emailed the 800 number or email address on the back of the book to find out what fundraising groups in the neighboring towns were selling them, as we do go out to lunch or dinner once in while in neighboring towns.
One of our favorite mini vacation spots to go to is Monterey, CA.
So this year, again I called the number on the back of out local coupon book and asked who in Monterey was selling the coupon book. We found out the local senior center there, as well as the high school was selling them. So prior to going to Monterey I called and got the hours of operation for the senior center and made sure they had the books available and verified their cost.
Needless to say one of our favorite place to eat was in the book for 2 of the coupons!!! We saved more than the price of the coupon book that weekend and are still saving... And again, we share our coupon book with friends and family that may be going to that area this year. We saved and are passing on the savings to others also.
A side note:These Fundraiser savings books make great gifts for high school and college age persons, what about co-workers, friends.... the list can go on.Now what should you do with all that
