Budgeting...
The 1st Step in Learning To Save

Budgeting -- your financial or budget planner..... In order to truly be able to save money, you really do need to begin with a financial plan. If you don't identify what money you bring in or earn and what money you pay out (bills) and spend, you have no way of truly knowing or even setting aside any money to save and create future goals.

What do you need to save for, you ask? So long as I make enough to pay my bills, eat and have some spending money, what do I need a savings for... well there may be some things you haven't thought of, or figure you'll deal with it when the time arises... but...

Let's save that for another page.

We are are going to start with a simple way to list your bills and your income. This will be your budget planner. Once you have your financial plan set up we want to look at it often.

Once your budget/financial plan is set up, to stay on track we'll want to review it a day or two before payday & again on payday. Before you spend any money, again, you should look at your financial plan. Hopefully this will help curb that impulse spending.

By reviewing your financial plan before and again on payday this will help to stay on track and start saving money.
