Barbecue Rub 1 / Barbecue Rub 2

Barbecue Rub 1

1/2 cup Kosher, Sea or Plain Salt
1/2 cup dark brown sugar – packed
1/3 cup coarse Black Pepper
1/2 cup Paprika
2 T. Dried Onion Flakes

1 tsp. Cayenne powder
1 tsp mustard powder
1 tsp celery salt or ground celery seeds
2 T. Garlic Powder
Combine all ingredients together and fill a pint jar to give away as a gift. Perhaps include your favorite barbecue recipe and if you find it on clearance perhaps a BBQ utensil or two. Or include this recipe so when the recipient runs out they can make some more. Use this rub on most any meat. This also makes a great marinade, rub into the meat & let it marinate for an hour or more. Enjoy!
